History: More than 20 years ago, the first sign of Leg Avenue was erected on a red brick building located in downtown Los Angeles. Founded by the Tsai family in 1984, recently after the family emigrated from Taiwan to Los Angeles, Leg Avenue started out has a humble hosiery wholesale business. The family designed unique stockings and had the product manufactured and imported from Taiwan to be sold at swap meats and kiosks located at L.A.'s famous downtown fashion district.
